100+ Images Of Child Porn Found On Cellphone Of Man, 19, Say Lancaster Police

A 19-year-old has been charged after over 100 photos and videos of child pornography were found on his cellphone, according to police.

Benjamin Anakin Shiffer, 19, of Manheim Township, was arraigned Monday following a search yielding 81 images and 53 videos of children either nude or engaged in indecent acts on his cellphone at his home in the 600 block of Pleasure Road at 8:25 a.m. on May 28, say police.

Shiffer has been charged with the following:

F2 Child Pornography (4 counts)
F3 Criminal Use Of Communication (2 counts)

He is being held in the Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $20,000 in bail.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 21 at 9 a.m.
